VHS Tape to Digital

We have received a message from an Ex. Dowty Mining Engineer who worked for the Export Dept at Dowty Mining from 1976 to 1988.

He has come across an old film of the Duke Prop Assembly & maintenance, in colour but not that clear, however it is on a VHS tape.

With it is a more interesting (perhaps only to miners) of a much older NCB training film in black and white, but a reasonable quality for it’s age, from the mid fifties, about the “do’s and don’ts” of using props underground.

We would like to know if anyone could convert the VHS tape to digital so that we can show it on the website.

Your help would be appreciated.
