Memories of Colin Little

My Dad, Colin Little worked at Dowty Mining in the 1950s before moving to Gullick Dobson’s in about 1967/8 after remarrying and my sister arriving, I can remember going to the Xmas Parties at Arle Court with my older sister.

I don’t know what my Dad did at Mining but at Dobson’s he was in charge of a small section making “one offs” for unusual vehicles using hydraulics, cherry pickers very big cranes and the like.

He lived in Mitcheldean when he was doing his apprenticeship and then moved to Hatherley at Cheltenham where he married my mum.

Do you have any pictures or information about him?

He passed away in 1990 aged 66 from an aneurism.

Thanks.

Also, I believe his brother Fred Little worked at Dowty Rotol, Fred too has sadly passed away .
