Yard Bay Extension Project

During 1957 a great deal of modernisation and building works were taking place at Arle Court.

One project which was captured here in these photographs was the Yard Bay Extension to Blocks A & B, this involved the demolition of some exisiting buildings and garages, then building an extension, in the form of a new bay out into the yard area.

This new extension would be called Block C and would create additional facilities for the site including a Cinema and stores.
