A Dowty Turbocraft 1959? has appeared in northern Alberta,Canada;I am assuming it is one of the Canadian built units and is in good operating condition.Presently powered by a 302 Ford V8 the engine cover appears to have been modified so I am thinking it may have had the Zephyr 6 originally.If anyone knows the history of the Canadian boats..and number sold…please email me at z77@shaw.ca.

I have a Dowty-Hamilton jet drive in a boat which has deteriorated so badly that I intend to recycle it. I think this drive is one of the first to be imported to British Columbia. I’m hoping the local Maritime Museum will accept the drive.
