Alan Davies is interviewed by John Herring and Graham James about his career with the Dowty Group where he worked from 1964 – 1993.

He introduces himself and talks about starting at Dowty Arle Court and then progressing his career at other Dowty sites, including, Dowty Hydraulic Units, Arle court,  Gloster Engineering and Dowty Rotol.

Alan recalls the products that were manufactured by the various Dowty sites he worked at, including the Taurodyne, Hydraulic Hand Pumps, Turbo Jet Boat, parts for TSR2, Harrier, Tornado, DC10, Airbus 310, 320, A330/340 and Fokker.
