Dowty Group - Corporate Brand/Logo

Dowty Group – Corporate Logo with Specifications

There is nothing more important to a business than its corporate image.

A corporate identity or corporate image is the manner which a corporation, firm or business presents themselves to the public (such as customers and investors as well as employees).

Corporate identity is a primary goal of the corporate communications, for the purpose to maintain and build the identity to accord with and facilitate the corporate business objectives.

The corporate identity is typically visualised by way of branding and the use of trademarks, but it can also include things like product design, advertising, public relations etc.. .

In general, this amounts to a corporate title, logo (logotype and/or logogram) and supporting devices commonly assembled within a set of corporate guidelines. These guidelines govern how the identity is applied and usually include approved colour palettes, typefaces, page layouts, fonts, and others.

  • Hello Richy… the quick answer to your question, is we do not know exactly… we do know that the Dowty Logo starting appearing on Dowty Equipment publications in the 1940’s…soon after Dowty Equipment was established… these publications can be seen on our website…the original Dowty Logo changed many times over the years, shape, colour and complete redesigns…and then came major redesigns when the company was taken over… however, the Dowty Logo is still used today by Dowty Propellers (Brockworth)
