  • The drop test tower (tallest building on the lower right of the photo) was built in 1954-1955. It was reported in Flight Global Magazine Article dated Aug 26, 1955 page 309 which included a photo and dialogue about it’s addition.
    So photo is circa 1955

  • Hello Gary, thanks for the message, apologies that a date was not attached to the post but unfortunately not all the photographs in our archive collections have dates or additional information, so a little research and best guesses are order of the day, these photos are from around 1950…the date has now been added to the post… why 1950? … from looking at the products that were being shown in the photographs, cars in the car parks, work areas, dress, buildings and other features.
