• I started my apprenticeship at Gresham Lion back in 1978 and was on a training program covering virtually all departments during those 4 years. I actually recognised one person in one of the photos but can’t recall his name. Two of my most memorable achievements were designing a digital serial interface for the RN Sub Harpoon and the MMI for the SMCS and latterly SSCS consoles. Finding this website has rekindled many previously lost memories of those years.
