Dowty Boulton Paul
Based in Wolverhampton, in 1961, John Dudley North recommended to the Board that they consider a possible offer from his friend Sir George Dowty and join forces, so that Boulton Paul Aircraft would become a member of the Dowty Group, the new title created the same year was just that:- “Boulton Paul Aircraft Ltd – Member of the Dowty Group”.
In 1970 the company's name changed to Dowty Boulton Paul
